Gemiş & Sarıkavak Open Field Mining Operations

Having launched its operations in 1975, Gemiş Open Field Mining Operation is located in Gemiş Village, Çardak District of Denizli Province on the shores of Acıgöl situated between the provincial boundaries of Denizli - Afyonkarahisar.  

The Pre-evaporation, Sodium Sulphate and Sodium Chloride Production Pools have a total area of approximately 4.620.000 m².

Having launched its production activities in 1975, Sarıkavak Open Field Mining Operation is located in Sarıkavak Village, Dazkırı District of Denizli Province on the shores of Acıgöl situated between the provincial boundaries of Denizli - Afyonkarahisar,  

The Pre-evaporation, Sodium Sulphate and Sodium Chloride Production Pools have a total area of approximately 5.220.000 m².

Crude Crystal Sodium Sulphate (Glauber's Salt) and Crude Sodium Chloride (NaCl) productions are carried out through all-natural methods by utilizing Acıgöl Lake Water in Pre-evaporation and Production Pools, located on a total pool area of 9.850.000 m² in both open field operations.
